My Fiction

RABBIT ISLAND a novel

RABBIT ISLAND is young adult novel about sixteen year old Adelaine Cross, the promise of Dreamland, and the world underground.  The book is inspired by Coney Island in the early 20th century and a childhood obsession with The Phantom Of The Opera.  I am seeking agent representation and publication for the book.

THE SUBWAY a vignette

A short peice about a moment in a nearly empty train car can be found in Issue #01 of the Vine Leaves Literary Journal here.

THE ROAD TO GONE a short story

This is a story about the places we run to and what it means to stay. The story is currently undergoing edits and I will be seeking publication in print or online magazines.

SPARED a novel

Elisabeth Starr should know what it means to be spared. After all, her sister, Kate, is the one who struggles with a devastating mental disability. Her mother is the one who has been left behind in their small New England town to care for Kate. And Elisabeth is the one living with all the opportunities her sister has been denied. But, Elisabeth knows their roles are not so cut and dry. Because she is also the one responsible for Kate being the way she is. And it's become a dark, debilitating secret that she can no longer bear.

SPARED is currently waiting on divine intervention to inspire a rewrite.
